Abstract
Bruce Ackerman’s latest work, Revolutionary Constitutions: Charismatic Leadership and the Rule of Law (Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press, 2019) offers a fresh perspective in the analysis of constitutional legitimation. In the opening chapter, Ackerman presents his ‘grand claim’ which he promises to establish through the publication of a future trilogy.
